University of Wollongong PhD graduates wear a blue gown with red facings and red sleeve linings. The UOW PhD gown has a unique sleeve and cuff pattern unique to the university. The academic hood is blue and fully lined with matching red. Headwear is a black velvet bonnet with red cord and tassels.
